Abba said it right! Take a chance (on me)
Hello my precious person and welcome to Avrils Qs blog!
You know, if you are just starting out your day, you might want to remember something Debbie Fields said. She’s the founder of Mrs. Fields
cookies, and I think she knew what she was talking about. She said, “The most important thing is not to be afraid to take a chance.
Remember, the greatest failure is not to try. Once you find something you love doing, be the best at doing it.”
You see, it’s part of our nature to want to hold back, not take a chance, and play it safe.
Playing it safe maybe safe but it is boring! playing it safe reeks of mediocrity and a mundane existence. Look around you and see who your friends are! How do they live? do they inspire you to be better? Or is it the same clocking into work at ‘x’ time and spending the weekends in a pub getting hammered or at brunch pretending to be something they’re not! Now there is nothing wrong with either, because right and wrong are subjective terms, but what I want you to think about is, does this kind of life appeal to you? are you doing the same thing? Are you playing it safe and stifling the fire within you that you were born to stroke and make something of yourself? Well, in my estimation and in my belief, every person on this earth is born for greatness but you first have to find it, nurture it, believe in yourself and TAKE A CHANCE on YOU!!!
We’ve been programmed, since we were kids, to believe that it’s better to be safe than sorry—and all that kind of jazz—when it’s really not. This is complete BS. If people played it safe, would we have all the fabulous inventions we now enjoy? Think, Edison, graham Bell, The wright brothers, Steve Jobs….
If you study the lives of all these people, you will find that every one of them lived right out on the
edge. They all took chances. But they all found something they love to do and then
they dedicated themselves to it.
Make certain today that you are not going to shy away from taking a risk. Just jump
right in there and make it happen. You’ll be glad you did.
What do you want to do, Take a calculated chance on something you believe in or just be mundane, boring and safe?
So, You know my mantra is I’MPossible!
So lets pledge to make 2018 the year of the possible…and to make whatever was impossible last year definitely possible this year.
Sending out so much love to you so catch it and put it in your heart and shine bright!!!
